Hi, I’m Matt, a creative based on the Northumbrian coast. There is nothing I won’t try creatively and always trying something new to keep my mind busy and my finger on my creative pulse.
You can normally find me under a crocheted blanket wishing it was just a little bit colder, doing every craft imaginable whilst searching for some new craft to try while an audiobook plays in my ears, or you may find me out and about in Flora my little red car, singing loudly to music horrendously off-key in the wilds of Northumberland. You can also find me sitting behind a screen learning something new, or playing some little indie title, or catching up with my ever-growing backlog of games and books that I missed.
After graduating from the University of Lincoln with a First Class Honours in Media Production, I ended up on a boat on the Tyne for a short placement within a Public Relations company. After multiple trips up and down the Tyne learning about PR, I jumped off the moving boat and ended up volunteering most of my time at a local children’s cancer charity. Initially intending to help with marketing materials but ended up learning as much about fundraising as I possibly could before being offered a full-time position on the fundraising team. As of 2025, I am looking for new and exciting opportunities.
For more technical details I am proficient in Adobe Creative suite, including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro. I am also proficient in Affinity Suite software. Working on both Mac and Windows for multiple years. I have started to learn Unreal Engine and Blender, as well as having a basic understanding of some coding languages.
